Specializing in internal medicine and echocardiology, Juan Pablo Cordova, MD, FACC, provides individualized specialist care to patients at South Shore Cardiovascular Associates. With over 20 years of medical experience, Dr. Cordova is a leading provider of cardiovascular health care to patients in and around Brandon, Riverview, and Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Cordova received his doctor of medicine from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador. After completing his medical education, Dr. Cordova began his medical career with an internal medicine residency at Metropolitano Hospital in Quito. He then went on to complete another internal medicine residency at Columbia University in New York, where he was made chief resident.

In addition to his medical education, Dr. Cordova has also received fellowship training in cardiology and interventional cardiology from Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital in New York. As an echocardiologist, Dr. Cordova plays a major role in identifying and diagnosing patients with cardiovascular abnormalities.

Dr. Cordova is board-certified in echocardiology, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. Along with the highly experienced medical team at South Shore Cardiovascular Associates, Dr. Cordova provides patients with the highest quality cardiovascular care throughout the treatment process.
